The session seeks to enhance the collaborative effort between community and clinicians to tackle current medical issues faced by patients living longer with HIV and HCV. Using lessons learned from the Canadian Coinfection Cohort study ( the session will examine the multi-dimensional nature of HIV-HCV co-infection and how to best lay the groundwork for increasing access to and success of new curative HCV therapies that could revolutionize the care of coinfected people.
